Most imports require a specific full-synthetic oil and a manufacturer-spec filter. The generic blend at a quick-lube can shorten engine life. We use the right oil for your car and reset the service reminder while we are at it.
An oil and filter service drains the old oil, replaces the filter, and refills with the exact full-synthetic grade your engine is built for. On imports the spec matters. Many require a specific approval rating, and most use a cartridge filter rather than a spin-on.
European engines run tight tolerances and longer service intervals, which only works if the right oil is in them. The wrong viscosity or a generic blend can cause sludge, timing issues, and accelerated wear. Using the correct oil and resetting the service counter keeps the engine healthy and the records clean.
